Insights into the drop
The VDP.GUTSWEIN is a testament to the careful selection of grapes that have flourished in the picturesque vineyards along the majestic Rhine. The quintessence of five different wine villages, represented by five different soil types, has given the wine its distinctive QVINTERRA® designation. After manual harvesting and rigorous selection, natural fermentation processes transform the grapes into wines full of character, which are matured in large, antique double barrels and state-of-the-art stainless steel tanks until they are left "sur lie" deep into spring.
