Color:
Light straw yellow with a slight cloudiness.
Nose:
The expressive nose sings the song of the Muscat with a clear voice. Tropical fruit notes of lychee, papaya, passion fruit and mango protrude from the goblet and are crowned by smoky top notes. Mild spicy notes of mace and cinnamon promise a highly aromatic bacchanalia.
Mouth:
The 2018 Muskateller Natural from Hajszan Neumann surprises on the nose with its delicate and slender stature. The tannins are reminiscent of the finest Darjeeling, the acid arc is long and gives it an ethereal, almost minty cool finish. Aromatically multilayered with linear drinking without flowery grape variety kitsch.
Food recommendations by Sebastian Bordthäuser:
- Glass noodle salad with vegetables and Thai basil
(salads, Asian dishes)
- Tempura of white fish in shiso leaf
(fish, Asian dishes)
- Fried sweetbreads in light tarragon sauce, with kohlrabi
(Vegetables & Vegetarian, Cabbage, Offal, Sweetbreads)
