Color
Transparent, bright ruby red colour. Rosé in the style of a claret
Nose
This rosé from the Solera is juicy and delicious on the nose. The wine is a blend of red and dark berries, cherry clafouti with almond slivers, a very subtle use of wood and a little lavender.
Palate
The delicious impression is reinforced on the palate. The wine is of course not a classic rosé, as you can tell from the colour. It is a light red wine that is intense at the same time. The amount of tannin here is light. The pink solera is juicy and sensual with lots of fresh red berry and cherry fruit, subtle yeast notes and a silky texture with yeast. You want to let this wine glide gently over your tongue in large sips and succumb to its charm again and again - right up to the palatable, subtly crisp and fresh finish.
