Nose
The Côtes du Rhône "No Wine's Land" is made from pure Syrah grapes. On the nose, it is still discreetly marked by the reduction. As a result, it appears slender, cool and aromatically bundled. Especially floral nuances of lilac and violets come out, as well as a little hibiscus. Its fruit seems wild and impetuous. Wild raspberries, sour cherries and sweet cherries. Pickled morello cherries and plums. Behind the fruit, it seems a little cold and metallic. White pepper and sage give it a delicate spiciness.
Palate
It seamlessly follows on from the impressions gained. Concentrated fruit, slender and racy. Matthieu Barret has bottled a filigree wine with drinking flow, a certain nonchalance and yet seriousness. A wine for every day with ambition. Full of elegance and finesse, the fruit appears cool, small-berried and acidic. With high astringency, the glasses empty quickly. Like currant juice, it combines fruit with delicate tannin and crisp acidity. More of this, please!
