Wine information
Attention rests on this glorious wine, proudly displayed on the sunlit slopes of the Golser Salzberg. An exciting story is spun from just two rows of vines, with each drop of Weissburgunder expressing the diversity of the sandy loam soils with high lime content.

Manufacturing process
This wine was obtained and bottled with the greatest care and a lot of manual work in strict compliance with biodynamic principles. The grapes were carefully harvested by hand between early and mid-September, with partial maceration and malolactic fermentation taking place naturally. Its ripe character emerged during 19 months of ageing on its own lees in used large oak barrels.

Optics
A bright golden yellow that sparkles with intensity.

Aroma
On the nose, the 2020 Ried Salzberg Weissburgunder by Heinrich reveals a blend of yellow fruits such as apricot, vineyard peach, ripe pear and preserved apple, underpinned with yeasty notes and subtle nuances of wood spice and anise, rounded off by dried ginger. This means that a fascinating and profound Pinot Blanc is in store.

Taste
The first sip cleverly brings together the juicy fruitiness with a tangy acidity, followed by fine tannins and a salty, mouthwatering texture. A lively, invigorating wine that lingers on the palate with incredible length. For optimal tasting, serve decanted and not too cold in a large Burgundy glass. An exceptional solo pleasure and no stranger to the kitchen!
