Nose
Trispol spreads a Christmas charm in the fragrance. Cinnamon-infused plums, morello cherry and blackberry dominate this spicy fruit spectacle on the nose. Speculoos, clove and star anise contribute plenty of spice of the same theme. Black pepper as well as dark chocolate provide deep dark attributes. The 2018 Trispol is surrounded by a slightly smoky tone. In the background, it presents warm leather, dried herbs and some hibiscus.
Palate
It completely occupies the mouth. The fruit seems expansive and is generously portioned. The spiciness is not neglected. At the same time, it is totally balanced. The fruit seems cool and it is absolutely at rest. It envelops the palate like silk. Stony and sparse. A fine tannin gives it a solid framework. The acidity pulls the right levers and lifts the Trispol onto an elegant pedestal. From up there, it can carry its message wonderfully to the outside.
