Color
Deep black-red, colour-dense to the rim.
Nose
The 2014 Planetes de Nin presents opulent fruit richness and distinct earthy aromas on the nose. Aromas of black cherries, pickled dark berries and plum jam combine with the scent of fine dark chocolate, and wild Mediterranean herbs and spices, such as pepper, clove and cardamom. Despite its fullness, we are dealing here with a wine that scores with elegance and facet, this is already noticed in the nose.
Palate
On the palate, the 2014 Planetes de Nin lays down a carpet of dark fruits, surrounded by the herbs and spices of the nose. Acidity and tannin structure still seem pleasantly youthful, this underlines again its elegance and facet. Makes not full this fine drop, but desire on more at the best slightly cooled to rich and aromatic kitchen.
Recommendation
If you want to enjoy it now, you should decant it at least two hours beforehand and enjoy it from a large red wine glass.
