Wine Details:
Welcome to the extreme northern plains of the foothills of the Serra del Montsant, the natural park near Vila de Cornudella, host to some of the highest vineyards. Our watches stand out for their 40-65 year old vines, specialising in carignan and grenache, spreading in calcareous soils.
The production process is equally detailed: spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks with rappen, a touch of pigeage for 20 days, and finishing in French oak barrels for 9 months. In addition, there is minimal use of sulphur.

Color:
Awaken your senses with the intense purple of this wine, accentuated with striking violet reflections.

Aroma:
The 2019 Gotes del Montsant unfolds an elegant bouquet of scents reminiscent of roses, violets, bright red fruits such as forest fruits, spicy red currants, sour cherries. There are also notes of plum jam, dark sweet bread and liquorice, rounded off by a mild hint of smokiness. This red wine is fascinating, invigorating and reveals depth and expressiveness at the same time.

Taste:
This masterpiece flows silky, juicy and invigorating across the palate, clothed in flavours of stimulating red berries. Surprisingly expressive yet light, this Priorat reveals a surprising lightness and elegance, coupled with a freshness you won't forget. Due to its versatility, this wine harmonises wonderfully with both fish and vegetarian dishes.

Alternatives to the food recommendations:
Grilled beetroot with pecans, rosemary and red wine vinegar
Fried skate with blackberries, fresh mint, crispy amaranth and baby blue potatoes
Venison with black cherries, wild herb mesclun and parsnip puree.
