Wine information
Assemblage of Chardonnay and Auxerrois with a share of 20 % base wines fermented in barrique.
Color
Light golden yellow with foaming mousseux
Nose
On the nose, this cuvée of Chardonnay and Auxerrois is reminiscent of slightly warmed yeast bread and buttered biscuits with ripe notes of star fruit, Charentais melons, juicy yellow nectarines and grapefruits. There is also a little lanolin, rock and lemon zest.
Mouth
The attack on the palate is initially characterised by a silky texture and a powerful body. The sparkling wine is distinctly spicy with herbs, zest and damp stone. In addition, there are ripe yellow and white fruits and some crisp apple. The mousseux is frothy, almost creamy and the acidity is present and punchy. This is a sparkling wine that fans out broadly on the palate, showing much depth and sensuality.
