Info
The cuvée of Grenache Noir, Carignan and Syrah comes from the youngest plots of the winery, the vines are at least 40 years old and stand on slate.
Color
Purple with clear violet reflections.
Nose
Cool, fresh and extremely animating is this start! Pure fruit of crushed dark berries, cassis and nettle immediately flow out of the glass in the 2017 Segna de Cor. The fruity first impression is complemented by rosemary, thyme, juniper, freshly ground pepper and liquorice. Floral impressions of violets and other dark flowers are clearly added and give it a feminine touch.
Palate
On the palate, it shows immense freshness and youthfulness, paired with a sweetish fruit, a polished tannin structure and a discreet and delicate acidity. Charmingly it runs over the tongue, a true seducer with a gentle structure, which suits extraordinarily well to be served slightly chilled.
