Bright, sparkling golden yellow with delicate green reflections.
Nose
The 2014 Saint-Romain Blanc presents itself expressively in the nose, a lot of minerality combines with smoky and slightly bacony nuances. If one gives him air then animating citrus fruits, their zests, apple, peach and mirabelle appear. Notes of pastry, vanilla and spicy honey give him fullness and complexity already at the first smell.
Palate
If you take the 2014 Saint-Romain Blanc on the tongue, it attacks this literally with its animating acidity, much minerality and saltiness. Its precise citrus and apple fruit dances on the tongue and makes it appear slender and elegant, this impression is additionally underlined by its moderate alcohol of only 12Vol%. The long finish reveals a fine and piquant wood spice.
