Wine information
The Pinot Noir naturel comes from a vineyard located directly in front of the winery. After the selective harvest and sorting by hand, the slow spontaneous fermentation of the whole grapes began. This was followed by ageing for ten months in steel tanks. Then the wine was bottled unfined, unfiltered and unsulphured.
Color
strawberry-coloured with discreet cloudiness
Nose
The Pinot Noir Vin de France smells open and inviting with fresh and mellow notes of wild strawberries and raspberries, yeast braid and a little undergrowth. With air, there are also some notes of blueberries with a slightly lactic tug, and it gets a little darker with hints of foliage and warm forest floor. There is a little mint on top.
Palate
On the palate, there is a hint of fruit sweetness in the clear and fresh juiciness of ripe red berries. At first, the tannin seems round and silky, but after a short time, the wine becomes darker and a little rougher here as well, but in a pleasant way, as it offers a nice resistance on the palate, although it remains silky and unctuous in terms of its basic orientation. It is sophisticated, but remains uncomplicated in the best sense. A wine that has become rare Vin de soif from Burgundy.
