Color
Bright lemon yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose
On the nose, the 2021 Pietranera from the Zibibbo grape variety - also known as Muscat d'Alexandrie - literally sweeps you away. Mango, passion fruit, watermelon and floral notes of roses explode, underpinned by fine tart citrus peel and grapefruit. An incredibly inviting wine full of expression.
Palate
In beautiful contrast to all the exoticism, it shows itself on the palate with invigorating acidity, a salty trace, cool, stony hints and a fine tannin that gives the overall impression a wonderful framework. Creative chefs can let off steam here, a real discovery with a top price-value ratio.
