Nose
The 2020 L'Heravi appears light-footed and youthful. The sour cherry aroma is omnipresent and compact on the nose. This is complemented by liquorice, redcurrants and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. The impression is clearly conveyed that this is all about nonchalant drinking pleasure and lightness.
Palate
And on the palate, it directly follows the expectations of the nose. The cuvée of Syrah, Carignan and Grenache from the Montsant region seems lean and juicy. For such a warm climate, it thrives on crisp acidity and is full of energy. The cherry aromas repeat on the palate and echo for a long time.
Food recommendations from Marian Henß
- Beetroot carpaccio, warm feta cheese and chive oil
- Iceberg lettuce with smoky eggplant cream and roasted pine nuts
- Sweet potatoes in tomato sauce with lime and cardamom
