Dominik Huber from Munich visited Priorat for the first time in 1996 during an internship at the renowned Cims de Porrera winery and immediately fell in love with the picturesque region. A few years later, he met the South African cult winemaker Eben Sadie and a fruitful partnership began. Together with Jaume Sabaté, they searched for the best single vineyards of the region. The goal was to work with autochthonous grape varieties and to produce site wines that reflect a maximum of terroir. In the first few years, the wines were vinified in barriques; as early as before Eben Sadie left in 2013, Dominik quickly switched to barrels and concrete tanks. As a result, the wines have gained even more elegance and finesse. They combine the unique conditions of the Priorat region with an almost Burgundian elegance.
