The bright golden yellow impresses every observer.

Scent
The 2018 Vouvray Le Mont Demi Sec entices with its pronounced minerality, evoking associations of smoke, flint, limestone and salty sea breezes. In a prolonged breath, the fruity sweetness of candied apples, quince jelly and oranges begins to unfold, accompanied by a hint of iodine and a slight bitterness.

Taste
On the palate, it is charming, with a fine sweetness. The mineral notes of the aroma are more evident and create a pleasant stimulation. Underneath this taste are notes of fresh acidity and a hint of tannins. In the long finish, aromas of bitter orange jam and orange zest become apparent. A white wine full of excitement and potential that promises a breathtaking development in the coming years.

Recommended method of serving
Decant the wine before enjoying it and serve it not too chilled in large glasses.

Alternative suggestions for dishes
Try a scallop ceviche with grapefruit accents and fennel or a pork medallion saltimbocca with a spicy adzuki bean salad. And for dessert, a fresh peach and strawberry salad in a chilled mint Vouvray jelly.
