Colour scheme
A full-bodied violet-red with a density that hardly diminishes at the edges.
Flavours
The Habla No 25 of the 2019 vintage shows a pronounced fruitiness in the upper notes. It entices with notes of sweet cassis liqueur, blueberry compote and redcurrant jelly, but it is the tart tones of sloe and rowan berry that give it a distinctive character. The bouquet is rounded off by the scent of cedar wood, tobacco and roasted aromas, complemented by a hint of fine dark chocolate.
Taste
On the tongue, it unfolds with a rich fruitiness and a remarkable spiciness. The tannins are harmoniously integrated into the opulent fruit structure. This is a rich, intense red wine that goes excellently with spicy, flavourful cuisine. A great wine by the glass at an excellent price-performance ratio.
Matching dishes
Serve this wine with a tart of tomatoes and aubergines or a grilled saddle of beef with roasted rosemary and potato gratin. Go more sophisticated with a smoked pigeon breast served with a blackberry sauce and celeriac puree.
