Wine info
The Armeniers' two hectares of alluvial and clay soil vineyards in the Côtes du Rhône receive the same loving treatment as the Châteauneuf-du-Pape sites. Their efforts for environmentally friendly viticulture have already been certified organic for three decades. The Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes are hand-picked and then vinified in concrete tanks.
Color
A luxurious purple red that retains its colour density almost to the edge of the glass.
Scent
Our 2021 Côtes du Rhône from Domaine de Marcoux opens with a seductive bouquet of sour cherries, dark berries and plums, spiced with rosemary and thyme. The floral notes of red roses, fresh raspberries and violets give it an enchantingly feminine touch. A truly elegant and invigorating start.
Taste
On the palate, the juicy fruitiness unfolds in harmony with a mineral sharpness and a freshness that is perfectly integrated into the fruit. The fine tannin makes it supple. This irresistible drop is a wonderful drinking wine and an outstanding companion for food. Its liveliness plays excellently with Mediterranean dishes, the higher alcohol content is never dominant, conversely, this wine captivates with its juiciness and elegant lightness.
