The Corzanello bianco is a cuvée of Chardonnay, Trebbiano, Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Manseng and Semillon. The five white varieties were planted in the cooler areas of the estate. The grapes are harvested by hand and are then cooled before arriving at the winery. They are gently pressed whole and the must is decanted for 24 hours. During fermentation, the temperature is kept controlled between 15°C and 18°C. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is decanted and stored on the fine lees for 4-5 months; no malolactic fermentation takes place. Bottled in March after the harvest.
Color
Light yellow with green reflections.
Nose
The 2022 Il Corzanello Bianco from Corzano e Paterno is a joyful companion. It has an aroma of green and yellow apples and pears with delicate citrus notes and floral overtones of lime and orange blossom. Delicate vegetal notes of laurel and culinary herbs such as chervil and borage ensure Mediterranean moments from Monday to Friday.
Mouth
With its Tuscanised style, it transports you directly under the nearest olive tree. Tart herbal aromas are the gustatory leitmotif, only then does the delicate fruit appear, which is essentially reminiscent of pomaceous fruit. Framed by fine phenolics, it is flanked by fresh acidity, which gives it its straightforward character. A juicy white wine from Tuscany with a fruity, tart flavour and a cool, minty finish.
