Info about the wine
The project was developed as an experiment to study the effects of a longer maturation period in amphorae. Three vintages were matured separately in the amphorae until the final blend, which was carried out shortly before bottling in July 2018.
Color
Vineyard peach colour with ruby reflections.
Nose
The Amphora Rosato 15+16+17 shows dense and beguiling red fruit of wild raspberries, blackberries, sloes and cranberries. With a little oxygen, refreshing herbal notes of mint and rosemary penetrate, as well as pink pepper, clove and a hint of cinnamon. Floral scents of violet and rose petals add a feminine touch.
Palate
Juicy and powerful is the keyword on the palate, the berry fruit of the nose combines with a mineral salty trace and invigorates the senses. Its fine tannin and invigorating acidity beguile the senses and stimulate the appetite. A real umami wine and congenial food companion.
