Color
Covered cherry red with delicate garnet lightening towards the rim.
Nose
Marked by a beautiful maturity, the 2009 Corelium shows itself with mellow, sweet fruit that reminds of pickled cranberries, cooked plums, dried dates in chocolate and dark plum jam. Notes of cedar, salmiac, wood smoke and tar already refer to its intense southern character in the nose.
Palate
Oily and soft it glides over the tongue, its acidity and tannin structure show themselves completely polished and charming. Dried Mediterranean herbs and fine notes of pepper give it structure and grip. A wine that likes the contrast in the form of dishes that bring spiciness, acidity and bitter components.
