Info about the wine
The interplay of climate and soil in the Danube valleys of Kamp, Krems and Traisen forms the basis for the character of the wines. Foothills of the Pannonian climate, named after the Roman province in eastern Austria and western Hungary, bring hot dry days to the area. Cool air currents from the higher altitude Waldviertel region mix and "season" the hot air, which can reach 38 degrees. The soils are also unique and ideal for winegrowing. On the one hand, there is Gföhler Gneiss, the primary rock from which the hills of the Kamptal were formed. On top of this lies brown earth, sometimes with a layer of limestone in between. On the other hand, there is loess, fly ash from the ice age, which has compacted into fertile soil. And finally, the clay soils that lie directly on the banks of the rivers.

Nose
On the nose, the 2019 Rosé of Zweigelt & Pinot Noir shows a lot of fruit and charm, the strawberry is omnipresent, sugared red currant and vanilla cream as well. A fragrant drop that already animates incredibly with its aroma.
Palate
On the tongue joy comes up, there it shows itself not only quaffable, fresh and invigorating, but also with fine spice and a moderate alcohol of only 11.5 Vol%. A rosé that gives great pleasure, also in combination with small delicacies.
