The colour presents a depth of violet-red, contrasts set off in black at the heart of the wine and the density of colour reaches the outer edge.
Bouquet
The impressive 2019 Le Grand Rouge de Revelette shows opulent fruit presence, depth and a cool minerality. Blackberries alternate with sloes and sweet cassis, with the finest chocolate flowing on top, followed by wood smoke and a chorus of herbs, including rosemary and thyme, with a noticeable hint of pepper and juniper. A breathtaking olfactory experience!
Taste experience
It coats the tongue with mineral grip and its gentle fruity note and light fruit sweetness make it particularly charming. Its tannin and acid structure testify to finesse and give it a vibrant liveliness that it shares with all of Peter Fischer's wines.
