Colour & Appearance

Deep dark, almost impenetrable violet-red with a black core – a wine that reveals its concentration and power already in the glass. Intensely coloured right to the rim.

Nose

An aromatic fireworks display from Provence: dark blackberries, sloe and blackcurrant meet noble dark chocolate and wood smoke. Added to this is an entire herb garden – rosemary, thyme, juniper and a distinct pepper note. The cool minerality lends the bouquet additional depth and elegance.

Palate

Here the full finesse of this cuvée reveals itself: the mineral grip settles precisely on the tongue, whilst supple fruit and subtle sweetness provide balance. The tannins are perfectly integrated, the acidity enlivens and structures without dominating. A wine with southern French charm and remarkable vibrancy – precisely that elegance which characterises Peter Fischer’s signature.

Finish

Long, spicy and carried by fine fruit. The herbal notes linger, accompanied by dark chocolate and a persistent minerality.

Grape Variety & Vinification

A classic southern French blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, which unites the best from three worlds: fruit, spice and structure. At 14% alcohol powerful, yet never heavy.

Food Pairing Suggestions

Made for rustic cuisine: grilled lamb cutlets with Provençal herbs, pheasant breast wrapped in bacon or a hearty bean stew with marjoram. Fundamentally an ideal companion to everything that brings roasted aromas and smoke – from the plancha to the smoker.
