Wine profile:
This premium wine comes from volcanic stone soils covered with a light layer of loess. Its production combines the traditional techniques of large wooden barrel and stainless steel ageing.
Discovery of colour:
This Pinot Gris presents itself in an expressive golden hue that shimmers sophisticatedly in the glass.
The bouquet:
This special Pinot Gris unfolds a complex fragrance of vineyard peaches, apricots and subtle herbal and floral nuances on the nose. Fine toasted notes underline its complexity and give it an unmistakable elegance. From the very first sniff, a feature of lively and deliciously stimulating nature unfolds, brought forth from the 2021 vintage.
Taste experience:
The pleasure on the tongue is an interplay of juicy fruit notes, stimulating acidity and a fine phenolic note that entices further enjoyment. The subtle roasted aroma from the wood barrel ageing is harmoniously and skilfully integrated into the velvety body of the wine. A gossamer salt note gives it mineral depth, while the extremely low residual sugar content of only 0.5 g exquisitely rounds off its overall appearance. This is a wine that complements a variety of dishes superbly - a real applause for the skilful cooperation in production.
Recommended food variations:
Instead of risotto of porcini mushrooms, you could try a ravioli with truffled butter. Instead of roasted pike perch, how about alternatively roasted sea bass served with yellow beetroot cream, pear and amaranth? And if you want to skip the confit chin of Iberico pork, why not try smoked barriga - pork belly - with pecan, portobello mushrooms and sweet peas?
