Light straw yellow, delicate green reflections
Nose
The nose is positively wild and impetuous. At the same time, however, it is absolutely calm and very skilful. Green almonds stand out alongside walnut and cashew. Almond and apple blossom envelop it in a very gallant manner. Mint and parsley add distinctly ethereal accents. These cool and revitalise at the same time. Moist fir branches now open up and completely dress the room. Leaves from the walnut tree and the bursting shell of the walnut become omnipresent in the glass over time. Kaffir lime leaves and blackberry bush follow exactly the same aromatic path. It is all extremely harmonious and yet its perfection is impetuous and appealing.
Palate
House brand Supernatural is no lightweight in 2021. The flavour density is high and you can sense that it comes from a warm environment. Nevertheless, Roland Velich and his team have succeeded in creating a wine that shows tension and vibrates on the palate. The acidity is moderately dosed but actively utilised. It is full of tension and benefits enormously from the reduction. The variety of flavours on the finish is not quite as explosive as on the nose, but can be described very well with its nutty, ethereal character.
