Tasting note
Color
Medium straw yellow with effervescent perlage
Nose
The Epic smells fresh and creamy of grapefruit, nutmeg, a little bit of Cujamara Split in the combination of vanilla cream and passion fruit. There's also a touch of melon, banana, pear and nectarine. In short: this is something to be drunk.
Palate
On the palate the Epic for what it promises. It is the ideal fizzy drink that you don't have to worry about, but which is simply good and made to a high standard. The sparkling wine is comparatively dry, the perlage pleasantly calm and not foamy, the fruit again a mix of tropical and local tutti frutti. There is also a fine flavour and a clean, lively acidity.
