Nose

The 2009 Le Mont Sec from Domaine Huet presents itself with ripe yellow fruit on the nose. The Huet-typical citrus notes mix with orange blossom water and young sage. Ginger, small plump pears and a stony-smoky minerality round off the portfolio.

Mouth

Taut on the palate with salty minerality and fresh yellow fruit. No exuberant fruit basket, rather the stringent essence of the fruit, underpinned with slightly tart aromatics and fine extract sweetness. The refreshing acid arc is wide and takes the wine into its fruity-smoky finish. Benchmark!
