Wild and earthy, the Sgarzon initially presents itself closed, yet with sufficient air contact, a fascinating aromatic interplay unfolds: sloe, rowan berry and elderwood form the austere backbone, complemented by beetroot, ivy and boxwood. A masculine, interwoven aromatic complex that invites sensory discovery.

Palate

Youthfully demanding, the Teroldego reveals itself on the palate. Vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannin structure lend tension, whilst dark berries meld with earthy notes, delicate minerality and subtle salinity. A sour cherry note enlivens the drinking experience. The wine develops remarkably over several days when opened – a true rough diamond that deserves time or generous decanting. Served lightly chilled, it unfolds its full charm.
