Color
Intense amber with golden reflections.
Nose
The 2017 Bukkuram "Sole d̓ Agosto" is a delight, it smells intensely of dried apricots, dates, raisins, nougat, fir honey and juicy fruit bread. The sweet flavours are rounded off by clear roasted notes, which remind of wood smoke, tobacco box and roasted almonds.
Palate
The palate reveals an oily sweetness accompanied by a pleasant fresh orange and citrus note. It flirts and challenges with its sweetness, incredible minerality and bracing acidity. A fantastic sweet wine, which I see not only with dessert and cheese, but as an exceedingly congenial companion to various meat dishes.
