Nose
Fresh attack already in the nose apple, citrus, some poached pear, a lot of minerality and a hint of anise. The scent of a flower meadow and lots of sea breeze and mussel shells.
Palate
Juicy and animating with lots of bright fruit and beguiling carbonic acid, the 2019 Crémant de Bourgogne Petit Aigle from Boris Champy unloads on the tongue. The saliva begins to flow immediately, its fine and elegant fruit lingers long in the finish. Wonderful aperitif and companion to dishes that are as fine as it is.
