Wine information
The Ambre Blanc 2021 is a Muscat from the Grand Cru Schoenenbourg. It was harvested on 5 October and lay on the skins for about two weeks.
Color
light, clear golden yellow
Nose
The mash fermented Ambre Blanc smells open, penetrating and beautiful from the first moment. It is an elegant wine, reminiscent of lime blossom, peonies and roses, of Zendrat lemons and pomelos, of nutmeg and some aroma hops. Despite the haunting fragrance, the Muscat bright, lively and almost prancing.
Palate
On the palate, this is a wine of velvet and silk, full of vivacity and freshness. The length of the maceration period proves to be perfect; for the Muscat shows tannin, but not too much, has depth, but is not heavy. Here, too, despite the forcefulness of the aromas of the flowers, citrus fruits and spices already mentioned, this is a lively, fresh wine with a fine texture and mineral depth.
