Nose
The Aligoté from 2019 offers a fresh and finely fruity nose of lightly creamy pear and a few green as well as yellow apples, of lemon curd and ripe lemon including abrasion. Next to that, there are notes of crushed lime and fresh herbs. It is a nice blend of light warmth and coolness, finely chiselled.
Palate
On the palate the Aligoté Fresh and juicy with a bright, bell-clear fruit. The wine appears creamy and silky as well as citrusy fresh with gentle pressure and fine grip and extract. The finish has a spicy note, reminiscent of grapefruit peel as well as a little liquorice and aniseed.
