Info about the wine
Cuvée of Grenache, Carignan and Cinsault.
Info about the expansion
Hand-harvested with low yields of 25 hl/ha, destemmed and fermented to 100 % for seven days. Subsequent ageing in concrete, in tanks and a few used barriques.
Color
Muted violet-red, almost colour-dense to the rim.
Nose
The 2019 "La Source" resembles a basket of dark and ripe cherries and berry fruits, accompanied by fine herbal, spicy and leather notes. Sweet aromas of plum jam, clove and cinnamon as well as fine hints of violets and nougat can also be detected. Already in the fragrance, it has something original with all its charm and shows a lot of character.
Palate
On the palate, it presents itself with a clear fruit sweetness, a polished tannin structure and a stimulating yet fine acidity. A juicy and charming wine for all days that does not seem ordinary. Due to its fullness, one can really speak of a lot of wine in the glass for little money. In combination, it is happy to accompany a spicy and rich cuisine.
