Color
Slightly cloudy red-orange, bright reflections
Nose
The first impression of the "Ruländer mit Achtung" shows orange zest and white flowers. A lot of red fruit comes in addition red currant, raspberry, but also rose hips. Inevitably, the association of peeling tangerines arises. The combination of tart and sour at the same time is not unusual. A delicate note of chamomile as well as nettle linger. All in all, this smells like a blend for red fruit tea.
Palate
On the palate, this wild-looking Ruländer is relatively well-behaved, but at the same time very exciting. Very appealing in its character and also accessible for newcomers to orange wines. A fine-grained tannin framework forms the basis. Phenolics and acidity shine alongside. The glass empties with a lot of pull on the palate and a desire for more. A delicate, positive bitter note heralds the finale. The thought of red fruit tea comes up again. A little marjoram and the aromatics of rosehip are present on the finish. Also the chamomile and orange zests impose themselves again.
