Color
Rich golden yellow with old gold reflections.
Nose
Salt lemons, orange blossom oil, bergamot and toasted rice cakes on the nose open the multi-faceted round dance. Like a diva in colourful regalia with peacock feathers, it shimmeringly smells from the glass of wet table chalk, spices such as allspice and red pepper as well as light tobacco, pear compote and dried tangerine peel. A clear case for the big glasses.
Mouth
On the palate, it is viscous with a delicate residual sweetness that firmly coats its mineral core and acidic nerve. Firm to the bite with high inner tension and massive pressure on the palate, it forms a gustatory isosceles triangle with its delicate spiciness, fine acidity and saline minerality, where, like on the Pink Floyd cover The Dark Side of the Moon, the fruit aromas burst into a dazzling prism. The aromas of the nose are mirrored on the palate, albeit still youthfully leptosome. Powerful and approachable a great pleasure for immediate consumption or a few years of bottle ageing.
