Wine information
The grapes come from the historic Valpolicella Classico zones of Marano and Fumane and grow on limestone. They were fermented with wild yeasts.
Color
Deep dark cherry red, black at the core with minimal lightening towards the rim.
Nose
The 2015 Ravazzol Amarone Classico seduces on the nose with intense fruity notes of black cherries, blueberries, blackberries and prunes. The spicy notes are also intense, reminiscent of cardamom, cinnamon, vanilla and cloves, as well as the scent of nougat chocolate.
Palate
Sweet, dense and juicy, it runs over the tongue. It flatters the palate incredibly, has something stimulating through its fresh acidity and the fine-grained and balanced tannin structure rounds off this beautiful drinking experience. A wine that is perfect drinking pleasure at the moment, but still has storage potential for years to come. A wonderfully opulent pleasure chilled at the barbecue and of course in autumn and winter with braised dishes or solo after a long walk in front of the fireplace.
