Pranzegg

Pranzegg makes natural wines in South Tyrol with purism and vibrancy
Martin Gojer, a young winemaker from South Tyrol, lives above Bolzano and produces wines full of energy, vitality and naturalness. His biodynamic farming methods, traditional pergola cultivation and classic South Tyrolean grape varieties characterise the style of his wines, which stand out from the general perception of South Tyrolean wines.
Pranzegg wines are contemporary witnesses and storytellers that communicate Gojer's way of life, region and origins. The wines come from the steep slopes around Bolzano, where some vineyards are still planted in old pergola systems. This method of cultivation serves to shade the soil in times of changing climate.
The white cuvée "Caroline", named after Gojer's daughter, impresses with its delicacy and purity. "Tonsur", a wine from the opposite side of the valley, impresses with minerality and precision with bright fruit and herbal flavours. Pranzegg's interpretation of the Gewürztraminer called "GT" is particularly exciting, with fruity and floral flavours and an uncanny depth.
