Info about the wine

The "N" wines are fermented with wild yeasts, are not filtered and are characterised by maximum freedom. "N" stands for "N-atural, N-o filtration, N-o limits, N-ext Level".

Info about the expansion

The grapes were fermented spontaneously for 14 days with open mash fermentation. The malolactic fermentation also took place spontaneously in tonneau, where the wine then matured for 15 months. It was bottled unfiltered.

Info about the situation

90 % of the grapes come from the Reiterpfad and 10 % from a plot in the Ruppertsberger Nussbien.

Color

Muted garnet-red colour with ruby-red highlights on the rim.

Nose

The nose is literally immersed in cool, opulent, juicy and beguiling dark fruit. Aromas of cherry, blueberry, blackcurrant and raspberry jam are wonderfully framed by notes of undergrowth, tree bark, cocoa and leather. Violets, ivy and rose petals lend it additional seductive elegance.

Palate

On the palate, the freshness of the 2021 Pinot Noir "N" is particularly impressive, giving the impression of biting into sour cherries and fresh berries. Graphite notes and a fine-meshed tannin structure are perfectly evident. Coolness and elegance are the credo here. Wonderful, lively and unadulterated, without any filtration. The excellent price/value ratio for such a Burgundian wine is particularly remarkable.
