Wine information
The grapes of the Nebbiolo "Perbacco"The grapes come almost exclusively from vineyards in the Barolo and Barbaresco regions, from vines that are ten to 45 years old and rooted in calcareous marl. The grapes, harvested by hand in mid-October, were all vinified separately by site and parcel. After destemming, the must was briefly pre-fermented in stainless steel at a cool temperature with about 25 % whole clusters and then fermented for three and a half weeks at 28 to 32 °C with regular over-pumping of the must. The malolactic fermentation took place in used barriques. Afterwards, depending on the origin, the wine was aged in large wooden barrels for about 20 months. The wine was neither fined nor filtered before bottling.

quite transparent ruby red
Nose
Vietti's Langhe Nebbiolo already makes a very open and inviting impression. It smells of sweet cherries, raspberries and blood oranges. They are accompanied by dried rose petals, cherry stones, dried herbs and a little dry forest floor including autumn leaves. However, the juicy ripe fruit predominates.
Mouth
On the palate the Nebbiolo "Perbacco Juicy and silky with an impressively sweet fruit core reminiscent of overripe wild strawberries, raspberries and sweet cherries. The wine appears flattering, mouth-filling and ripe, while being transparent, lively and carried by a fine tannin. This is a wine that is fun to drink from the first moment.
