Nose
On the nose, the 2020 Il Corzanello Rosso IGT presents plenty of fresh fruit reminiscent of sour cherries, raspberries and cranberries. The fruity aroma is accompanied by fine leather, undergrowth and spicy notes, fragrant violet and rose notes as well as hints of rosemary and thyme. Clear notes of paprika are also present and lend it piquancy and expression.
Palate
On the palate, it is fruity, stimulating and refreshing with stimulating acidity and fine-grained tannin structure. Its salty, mineral touch and piquant spiciness make it the perfect companion for hearty, Italian-inspired dishes with fruity touches.
