100% Syrah from the heart of the winery planted in an extremely stony site near the lake in Riparbella.

The maceration and fermentation takes place for 15-18 months in tonneaux and French oak barriques. The Suissassi was neither fined nor filtered.


Deep dark cherry red, black at the core violet reflections towards the rim


The 2015 Suisassi presents itself powerfully with intense wood and dense fruit cassis, cassis liqueur, elderberry juice and blueberry compote flow into the nose. Just as intense as the fruit are the balsamic herbal notes, reminiscent of sage, rosemary, thyme and eucalyptus. The whole is accompanied by its distinctive expansion of tobacco and leather notes and the scent of smoked meat and charcoal.


The 2015 Suisassi convinces on the palate with fruit and density, Luca d̛Attoma succeeds more and more in perfecting his wine style. We meet a silky elegance and a playfulness beyond compare, integrated in the juicy fruit fullness. Every sip seduces to another one and the cuisine that accompanies it may be intensive and earthy.
