Info
Pressed like in the old days! Deeply rooted Austrian grape varieties from different vintages. Spontaneously fermented, partly as whole grapes, unfined and unfiltered. Patiently matured in wood. Dry with fresh acidity and liveliness.
Color
Dense purple with violet reflections and slight cloudiness
Nose
Dense and dark, the fruit is present in the glass. Tightly woven, the transitions seem to flow from morello cherry to sweet cherry, cassis to raspberry and blackberry to plum. The fruit seems crisp and fresh. Very balanced in relation to each other. Its name, Gluegglich Rot, corresponds to the first thoughts you form with this glass in front of you. Light herbal aromas - sage, mint and oregano - offer just a little resistance to the loud fruit.
Palate
On the palate, it seamlessly picks up the emotions and thoughts of the nose. the fruit is juicily positioned. Crisp and with a slight astringency, the first sips are like biting into a handful of fresh, cold berries. No tannin, hardly any bitterness stands in the way. It's all about the fruit and drinkability. The fruit completely transitions into red currant and sour cherry. Totally animating.
