  • 🎨 Color: translucent ruby
  • 👃 Aroman: Complex, with hints of raspberries, wild strawberries, cherries and blood oranges, complemented by earthy notes, rosemary and liquorice.
  • 👅 Taste: A transparent fruitiness paired with herbal notes, dried wood and a subtle liquorice spice. Fine, restrained tannins.
  • 🎭 Character: The wine offers a perfect balance between brightness, clarity and the typical power of Garnacha. Impressively fresh with only 12 % alcohol.
  • 🍽️ Food recommendations: Goes perfectly with rogan josh, venison sauerbraten with red cabbage, and beetroot baked in salt dough with olive oil and za'tar.
  • Special features: Grown on old Garnacha vines, characterised by light clayey and calcareous soils with fine gravel. An exemplary representative of the Garnacha grape variety.

Wine information

Old Garnacha vines on a 1.46 hectare parcel with light clay and calcareous soils and fine gravel.

Color

translucent ruby

Nose

The Finesse This Garnacha offers a fine melange of raspberries and wild strawberries, some cherries and blood oranges in combination with earthy notes, some undergrowth, rosemary and liquorice. It quickly becomes clear that this is fine Garnacha.

Mouth

On the palate, the wine appears similarly transparent as in the colour. The bright fruit combines with herbal notes, some earth and dry wood and is accompanied by the liquorice spice already recognisable in the aroma. On the one hand, the wine appears bright and clear with fine, restrained tannins, on the other hand, it has the power so typical of Garnacha. The freshness and the 12TP9T by volume, which is so discreet for a variety with a tendency to alcohol, are impressive. Josep-Maria Anguera has created a wonderful representative of this grape variety.
