Nose
After aeration, the 2019 Embaixador from Attis shows a pronounced fruitiness that is reminiscent of orange, lime, citrus, citrus blossom and lemon salt. Many wild herbs as well as verveine and lime blossom drift over into a stony and cool impression. A lot of liveliness already in the fragrance awakens the desire to taste it.
Palate
Acidity, power, saltiness and depth are what we encounter on the tongue, one gets the impression of biting into a lime that has been tossed in salt, the fine tartness of the peel additionally stimulating. Ideas immediately arise as to how the perfect combination with food could look - and there are truly many with this inspiring and mouth-watering drop. A wine with a perfect freshness kick and at the same time very good ageing potential!
Be sure to decant and enjoy not too cold from a large glass.
