Color
Light, transparent garnet red
Nose
This colourfully and aromatically transparent Beaujolais of the Bret brothers opens with notes of sweet cherries, raspberries and rich ripe plums, intermingled with tones of roses, violets, meadow herbs and a little liquorice.
Palate
On the palate, the loamy, deep soil provides a round texture from the fine-grained tannin. This is complemented by a deep, juicy dark fruit of cherries and cooked plums and berries, which in turn are accompanied by some liquorice and spicy notes of seeds and peel. Overall, this is the fleshiest Beaujolais in the collection.
