Cuvée of Grenache Blanc (55%), Rolle (20%), Clairette (10%), Roussanne (10 %),
Viognier (5 %), grown on a northwest exposure at 540 m on a very stony Argilo-Calcaire (clay and limestone) soil.
Color
Water bright, delicate yellow with silvery reflections.
Nose
The 2019 Astralabe Blanc smells of hay, chamomile, lime blossom, anise, yeast and almond. Its subtle fruit is reminiscent of white peach, pear, quince, apple and a little honeydew melon and its peel. Already in the nose, it appears very Mediterranean and delicate and impresses with elegant restraint and precision.
Palate
On the tongue it spreads with bright, juicy fruit, some citrus, fine spice and animating phenolic. An extremely animating drop, which can be combined particularly well with light kitchen with fruity and herbal influences.
