Color
Dark cherry red
Nose
The nose promises pure Priorat. Rich fruit, slate spice and Mediterranean aromas. The cuvée of Grenache, Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon appears cool, dark and full of fruit concentration. Black cherry, blackberry, warm leather, but also juniper and Mediterranean herbs, such as thyme or rosemary, spread in the glass. The slate soil so typical for Priorat and the warm, dry climate are definitely noticeable.
Palate
On the palate, it plays all its trump cards. The fruit is juicy and is mainly characterized by sour cherry. The acidity leads the wine stylishly over the pleasure parquet. The wild and southern European aromas are confirmed in the finish. A fine cool minerality presents itself, wonderfully accompanied by a fine-grained tannin. Juicy and with a lot of drinking animation, this wine prepares pleasure for the second and third sip.
