Info about the wine:
The grapes are grown at 350 m altitude on volcanic and sandy soil. After spontaneous fermentation in steel, the cuvée of Nero d'Avola, Alicante and Corinto was bottled unfined and unfiltered after sedimentation.
Color:
Dark ruby red with minimal lightening towards the rim.
Nose:
The 2017 Ypsilon is a juicy seducer, a beguiling substance that smells of small red and dark berries, of cassis liqueur and freshly raked rosemary. It is particularly charming with hints of nougat and its floral scent - of ivy, wild roses and lavender warmed by the sun.
Palate:
Like the previous vintage, it is very stimulating, with exuberant freshness and finesse on the tongue. True joy comes when drinking, strengthened by the moderate alcohol of 12.5 Vol% and the juicy and charming fruit of the nose, its extremely stimulating acidity and the fine-grained and precise tannin structure. This drop with its spectacular price-pleasure ratio is worth every cent!
