Color:
Dark purple with clear violet reflections.
Nose:
The 2013 Dits del Terra is feminine and fragrant with red fruits and floral hints. Wild raspberry, red currants, raspberry jam dance the round dance with roses and violets. The charming first impression is underpinned by pepper and juniper notes and cool mineral hints that refer to its origin. The longer it is opened the more clearly also notes of rosemary, thyme, vanilla and some cardamom and vanilla show up.
Palate:
On the palate, the 2013 Dits del Terra has a lot of freshness, paired with fine fruit and a velvety tannin structure. A wine that seduces and challenges the tongue at the same time, burgundy and incredibly animating to drink. Deep Priorat paired with a lot of freshness and mineral finesse. Already now a super food companion for impatient and the perfect antipole to the Arbossar, without the two get in each other's way. One may be curious how this fine drop si will develop in the next years with some maturity. Bravo Dominik!
