Info about the wine
A cuvée of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and a touch of Viognier.
Info about the expansion
After five days of cold maceration, the wine was pressed directly to be fermented in 600 litre half barrels. After eight months of batonnage, it continued to age for another nine months in French oak barriques. It was brought to market only after another three years of bottle aging.
Color
Intense golden yellow.
Nose
The 2015 Aliot is powerful, fragrant and floral. Banana, honeydew melon, papaya, white chocolate and vanilla shake hands. The use of wood is clearly noticeable, cedar notes, roasted aromas, tobacco and malty notes are beautifully present.
Palate
On the palate, the 2015 Aliot wraps you around its finger with its creamy and charming style. For all its richness, it also shows a great freshness with a pointed minerality and spicy aftertaste. An umami wine that is currently in a wonderful phase.
